Kanban Board

You don't need a separate project management tool. Innovatic includes a full kanban board — multiple boards, customizable columns, rich cards, filtering, and epics. And if your team uses Linear, it syncs both ways.

Boards

Create as many boards as you need:

• Organization boards — shared across all repositories in an org
• Repository boards — scoped to a single project
• Custom columns — define your own workflow stages (Backlog, In Progress, Review, Done, etc.)
• Card counts per column so you can see workload at a glance

Cards

Each card is a rich task record:

• Title, labels, assignee, priority, due date
• Markdown description — write full requirements inline
• Comment thread — discussion with timestamps
• Linked conversation — connect a card to a specific Innovatic worktree

Drag cards between columns to update their status. Create cards instantly with Cmd+K / Ctrl+K.

Filtering

Find what you need quickly:

• Filter by label, assignee, status, or priority
• Text search across card titles
• Active filters shown as removable chips

Epics

Group related cards under epics for higher-level tracking:

• See all child cards in an epic detail panel
• Status rollup — aggregated completion across all cards in the epic
• Link specs generated in Specforge directly to an epic

Linear integration

Connect Innovatic to your Linear workspace for team-wide visibility:

• Import from Linear — pull issues into your Innovatic board
• Push to Linear — create or update Linear issues from Innovatic cards
• Status mapping — map each Innovatic column to a Linear workflow state
• Background sync — updates pull automatically every 30 seconds
